CMI To Acquire ERP Software In a move to further boost the company's efficiency and to improve customer service, CMI is currently evaluating a couple of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software and eventually decide on which one to implement in the company. This latest initiative of the CMI management to improve operational processes and control cost is part of the effort that started late in 2001 when a LAN was installed and a mail and web server was put up. Early this year, the company also acquired the right to the domain name casamikael.com and eventually set up its own mail system and website. This latest project will cost the company quite a handsome amount of money but the management believes that the cost is worth the benefit that can be derived from the automation. The implementation period will coincide with the peak months and may result in a longer implementation time but this did not hinder the company from pursuing the project. Led by its indefatigable President, Rubby Coyiuto, CMI hopes to continue to lead the trail in this niche industry in the country.
